Relaxation Exercise
I have done exercises like this before and most of the time I find them to be helpful. This one I did not particularly enjoy because of its focus on one area. I also struggled with it because my two year old was in the same room Not going to sleep! Then I could hear my husband talking to himself and doing some things. There were a lot of distractions. In order for these things to be really helpful I think you need to make sure you in a quiet place with no distractions. I will try it again at another time when the house is quiet, maybe right before I go to bed.

ReplyDeleteYou are definitely right. That particular exercise needed to have a quiet place with no distractions. It sounds like you got your hands full with your two year old. :). I think that is a good idea to try right before you go to bed.
It worked great for me I was alone turned off all the light and put in the ear buds.
